DEH Utilities Version 1.1
=========================

Have you ever downloaded a DeHackEd patch, tried using it,
and found that it is missing something? Maybe you want
infinite ammunition. Maybe you like faster weapons. Or, maybe
you're just tired of typing the long DeHackEd command line.
If any of these things sound familiar, then this utility is
for you.

DEH.BAT is a VERY LARGE and ADVANCED batch file for loading
DeHackEd patches. With DEH.BAT,

1) Patches can be loaded normally with a simple command.
2) Infinite ammunition can easily be added to ANY Dehacked patch.
3) Weapon speed can be increased with VERY LITTLE effort.
4) Any patch can be merged into another one.

Requirements
------------

1) DeHackEd Version 2.3 (REQUIRED for merge, infinite ammo, gun speed)
2) DOOM II (Any version except 1.8 will work now!)

Syntax/Usage
------------

Syntax:

NOTES:	[] mean that a parameter is OPTIONAL.
	<> mean that you must specify an option.
	The original patch will NOT be modified.

	DEH <patchname> [<options>] [+ <otherpatch>]
	
	<patchname>	Name of DeHackEd patch to load.
			.DEH extension can be included,
			but is not required.
	<options>	Any combination of the following,
			separated be spaces:
			I = Infinite Ammo 1.0
			A = Infinite Ammo 2.0
			F = Ultra-Fast Weapons
			R = Random Weapons
	<otherpatch>	A patch to merge into <patchname>.
			This can be any patch. Merge behavior
			is controlled be DeHackEd.

Information About Options
-------------------------

Infinite Ammo 1.0

	All weapons are given unlimited ammunition. Ammo
	bonuses are unchanged. They do nothing.

Infinite Ammo 2.0

	All weapons are given unlimited ammunition. Small
	ammo bonuses become green armor, large become blue.
	GREAT FOR DEATHMATCH!

Ultra-Fast Weapons

	All weapons are given MAXIMUM speed.

Random Weapons

	Changes weapons sitting on ground. Weapons 1-4 cycle
	through being chainsaw, chaingun, shoygun, super shotgun.
	Weapons 5-7 cycle through being rocket launcher, plasma
	rifle, and BFG. This is am MAJOR CHEAT in Deathmatch 1.0.
	You can stand on a weapon and get them all! It might be fun,
	though, in normal play or Deathmatch 2.0

Other Stuff
-----------

If you have a "merge-in" patch that you would like me to include in
the next version of DEH.BAT, please send it to me. I'll be sure to
give you credit if I use it.

Also, please do not modify DEH.BAT more than you have to. I can
understand if you need to change the directory or drive, but
please don't do too much without sending me ideas. I may decide to
use them in the next version. If I do, I'll give you credit for
coming up with it.
