From: Andy Gramata To: Qoole Reply-To: ml@qoole.com Date: Thu, 04 Dec 1997 08:36:52 -0500 Subject: VooDoo 2 info Qoolers, With all the talk of VooDoo, AGP, and VooDoo 2 the last week or so I just thought I'd pass along some info........In the Jan issue of Next Generation gaming magazine there is an awesome review/tech article about the new VooDoo 2 card. It states that it will do a consistent 60 fps at 640 x 480.(3DFX's goal....) and it can push 1 million triangles a second. This is 10 times greater than the N64....and 3 times that of the current VooDoo chipset. It has a full list of tech specs and a blowup/diagram of the card it self and it's components. It also shows two cards patched together enabling scan-line interleaving. Imagine two of these things side by side in your PC!!! The article is excellent.....in the same issue there is another article regarding AGP and how it works. So it may answer everyones questions we've been discussing here........spend the 4 bucks or whatever it costs, it worth it!
