...and find out that WorldCraft has this same bit of legalese in its
licensing agreement.  I was very pissed off at WC when I first saw this;
this is the reason that I switched to QOOLE.  When I first saw this thred, I
was prepared to judge Lithium in the same way, no matter how much I like
QOOLE.  Although I don't plan to profit off of any of my levels (I have
received too much free stuff to do with Quake not to give back for free),
this restriction is a major sticking point. However, if what Paul Hsu is
saying their reasoning and how they will handle it (charge on a case by case
basis) is true, then I understand, and now think that maybe I misjudged WC
(even though I wouldn't pick it over QOOLE now.  Maybe putting the info
about the terms of the commercial license process in the agreement would
stop this argument when the license is read, rather than having to deal with
outcry like this.

 BTW, WorldCraft is definitely not better, and IMO not worse either, just
different.
