Okay, dammit!  I was hoping this thread would die this time, but it never

does so on its own... so lets kill the damn thing!

Everyone has his or her own opinion on this matter and no amount of
debate 
is going to change these deeply rooted feelings.  Let's just pretend that

this debate has been settled and we can get on to more productive work.  

I mean, come on (!!!), Quake has been out for over a year and we've had 
plenty of time to argue this to death... and trust me... it _HAS_ been 
argued to death.

I am now going to go pray for the stop to this insanity.
