I believe this has a very simple solution. This happened to me once. Open
the export window and check the file names.
make sure you haven't accidentally pressed a key and change the name of the
vis.exe, or any other extension. I did this once (I pressed "s" without
knowing it and cumbersomely named it "vis.exes"). This is the only advice I
have to offer. Tell me if I was of any help. :)

Hello I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else.... When I am
working on a map, I hit export bsp blah blah blah, and I get no problem in
qbsp.exe yet it doesn't write the .prt file even though on the same exact
map, with no changes 5 minutes ago.... It would, now I no this seems like
nonsense but it's frightfully true and has happened to me for the second time
and this time I was in the middle of a 2.4 meg level :(.... And it's not the
size that counts because I can make a very simple room, hollow it, and place
a player start in it and that won't vis either... I am using qoole 1.99 and
the qbsp programed reffered from the download page.... And one more thing
this problem fixed itself last time, but maps that wouldn't work still
wouldnt, but new ones would and I've searched quite a bit for leaks +
pointfile and other things to no avail..... BTW I don't expect a solution for
this cause I don't even know where to begin to explain it..... I just wanna
know if it's happened to anyone else.......
