The 3d II is a 3D only card.  It has a pass through for your 2D card.  I'm
not sure about the Diamond stuff, but some companies make the 3Dfx cards
using Polling instead of requiring an IRQ, which a PC doesn't really have
enough of... argh.  Orchid's Righteous (while only a Voodoo I) doesn't
require an IRQ.  I'm not sure about Diamond or Creative--but if someone
knows it would be cool to post the info...
