Creative Labs and Diamond seem to be making sure they don't screw
up on these cards. No problems have been reported with them so far.
I'd recommend a 12 meg if you can afford it.

Yes... only the Voodoo Rush is an all-in-one 2d+3d card.

The only high performance 2d cards I haven't heard bad things about
is the Number 9 Resolution, and the ATI expert@ work/play.
Get at least 4 megs ram on it. Over 4 won't make much difference, under 4
will.
My roommate has a millenium, he's in Matrox's driver-of-the-week program,
as he has YET to get everything video-related to work properly.
Wait until he gets an add-on card, his problems will only multiply.

Basically, the faster the 2d card the better, any slow PCI card
will have a major impact on your 3d, for pass-through reasons.
