Uh, that's not true.

That might have been true IF you were using the VESA passthrough,
but it's not. The VGA out goes to a VGA in on the voodoo card, and
then there's a digital switch on the card, and there's a VGA out on
the voodoo. The speed of your 2d card only affects the speed of your
2d operations, not the speed at which a voodoo card operates.
