well, John... your questions are related to the fact that the QOOLE
programmers still have not fixed that little "oversight" of theirs.
Currently, the ANGLE parameter on doors, buttons, player_start position,
etc. are all fucked up.  They're backwards from what they're supposed to be.
Here's what the TRUE settings should be (from the TOP VIEW window):

-1 = up
-2 = down
0 or 360 = east
90 = north
180 = west
270 = south

So, for now, if you want your button to push in and it's on the south wall,
you would use a value of "90" instead of the normal "270".  Get it?  Hope
that helps.

I believe the programmers are going to fix this in a future beta release..
not sure when that will be, however.
