Do you have large open areas with lots of detail? This is still a
problem in Quake (either version) and should be avoided. There's not
much you can do (if you do have large open areas with lots of detail)
except to create line-of-sight barriers. This is why the id levels
have short corridors that twist and turn with limited open areas.

Hiya, and HELP!, I have completed my lev now. and its quite large, qbsp run
thorough all ok, although there were spme clip erros, but however it stil
created the PRT file with PTS file being 0 bytes, so one assumed that that was
all ok to VIS>
so.......I vised it..took 3 hours to do so using RVIS MAP, but great! i load
it uop and find that the framerate is very poor, almost unplayable...this was
very disapointing as you can imagine the time and effort sent in completing
the lev.. I also tried to RVIS -LEVEL 4 MAP aswell to see if that made a diff,
but no joy.. can somthing be done.. please please help.... regards

jamm!
