Hi Paul,

Yes there is. Go to the texture properties (ALT+T), and find the face you want to change. Now, on the texture sidebar, find the texture you want to use. Rightclick on that texture (on the sidebar) and click on Apply. That will assign that texture to that face. Hope that helps :)
