Texture looking or locking??

If you mean locking then here's the best explanation I can give ya.

When you apply a texture to lets say a square brush (crate, box, whatever),
It normally will be offset (if the texture isnt just a flat bland one).

Then  you have to (normally) move the x and y axis up or down to center it
perfectly.
Ok..you have a nice looking textured box...but wait....if you move it (the
box that is) around
then suddenly your texture is all messed up again.<-------This is why you
need texture locking.
So you can move boxes or whole rooms around without having to worry about
you textures, that you worked
so dilengently to get perfect, get messed up.

If you talking about Texture Looking....well then ummmm I need further
explanation.
