Subject: Aliasing problems

I have a room with one bright light entering through a window
to simulate the sun. A pillar in the room casts a shadow along
the floor and a wall, but the shadow has badly aliased (jagged)
edges.

Anyone know if there is a way, perhaps commandline options,
to decrease the aliasing that I believe qrad3 produces?
There is a switch called -extra which turns on extra sampling
which I would have thought would fix it, but it doesn't appear
to have any effect.

Regards,
