apparently trans33 is as transparent as you can get. use a window texture
and make sure that trans33 is applied to all the faces of the brush.

There's 2 other light entities in Quake 2, Mine1 and Mine2 (i think, doing
this from mem). One of them is a fast strobe and the other is a slow strobe
i assume.

there's really not alot of varying light styles like in the origional
quake.
