We've *always* got ideas.  ;)

Oops.  If you're talking 'bout Q1, actually, nope, I don't have any ideas.

Q2, however...

There's an entity called target_spawner.  I haven't done a lot o' single
player mapping, but I think you can point the monsters targets at the
spawner, and it'd be activated when they die.  Anyhow, you can find a
