Subject: I found the error - not saving QLE files properly

The error that has been giving me the cut node portal error was a hollow
cube that I put in over a week ago!   I haven't even worked on that part of
the map since then, therefore something really whacky is going on, and it's
not part of the tools from id.  The QLE file is not being saved properly is
the only thing that I can think of.
