Subject: Quake2, rotating grouped objects, 2.31 QOOLE

Hi all,

I've found what I believe to be a problem, but what might have a very
logical explanation behind it, mebbe someone can add to this or even
explain it some.

If I group objects I can only use the rotate object function in the top
window. If I attempt to rotate in the back or side windows, nada,
(unless I move it RIGHT across and up to the top view, WITH the mouse
button still down, then it does some REALLY weird shi*, but anyway)
any reason for this?
yesterday specifically, it happened with func_door_rotating object. the
door is grouped with an origin brush. no problem there. But group two
doors and no way hosè.
OK, in writing this I just realised maybe I should test it more
thoroughly. But maybe someone else can test too.....suggestion

Group two brushes.
attempt to rotate in all views save 3d.
Duplicate the group and then group the two groups into one group.
try again.

maybe it only happens with grouped groups.....
er, i think i have a headache now...
I'll test this at home tonight ;) but id appreciate a hand if possible.

peace
