I doubt it.  The virge's acceleration is a bit of a joke, really.. I
remember running Jedi Knight, and it ran SLOWER with hardware
acceleration enabled because that turned on mip mapping etc that the
card couldn't quite handle.  I tried GLQuake with a virge too.. let's
just say it was secs/frame instead of frames/sec.
