Just set these variables (like in DOS) in your ~ bootup-script (the name
varies depending on the shell you use). For example, if you use BASH,
the file is called ~/.bashrc (mark the dot), and you set variables using
the EXPORT command, i.e. EXPORT SST_SCREENREFRESH=60. (Note: the EXPORT
command is valid for BASH, other shells might have other commands)
