The 'others' won't get 6 ping with an analog modem.
The've probably got a cable modem or better. But
your pings are quite high. Try to connect to servers
that are 'closer' than you. (Use Gamespy to find
out what your pingrate is) And if that doesn't help,
connect at 33k6. It seems that Quake can get con-
fused by 56Flex and X2 modems.
